You are getting closer to meeting your newborn! You are probably feeling emotions ranging from excitement to apprehension. Most women cannot wait to lay eyes on their new baby, but are concerned with the actual labor. Rest easy – you’re in good hands at the St. David’s Women’s Center of Texas and will receive excellent care.

Every woman and every labor is different, so we recommend taking the time to think through a birthing plan, write it down, and share it with your partner and physician. We know this is the single most important day in your life and want to make sure you are comfortable with what lies ahead.
